Move the Research Forward is the public service awareness arm of One Ribbon, One Movement. It invites visitors to look closer at persistent changes, understand the full experience of childhood cancer, and connect awareness to the Foundation's research mission.

United States Cancer Statistics reported 14,381 cases in 2019, an age-adjusted rate of 177.2 per 1 million. The analysis combined CDC and National Cancer Institute registry data and covered 99.1 percent of the United States population.

September connects public awareness to the work that continues all year.
Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is one focused expression of Kiona Foundation's broader cancer mission. One Ribbon, One Movement centers children and families during September while the Foundation's research and charitable work extend across the lifespan.
These were not pre-determined fates. They were illnesses where conventional therapy was inadequate, and the search for less toxic, more effective options is the work that follows.
KF-ECS-2025 documents the Foundation's research direction on endogenous cannabinoid system deficiency, alongside its work pursuing botanical candidates through the FDA Botanical Drug Development pathway.
